Litterbug Bobbleheads are coming back
We have well over 100 items listed this month and you may have noticed this trend toward "more" over the last few weeks. You may also be wondering what's up with us... why are we going so gangbusters? Well, like many businesses, we were significantly impacted by the colossal snow fall amounts in February and as such we're working feverishly to make up for the loss we incurred.
To that end we'd like to take a moment and tell you about a few special items are either in process or have already made their way out to the sales floor.
The first one is carpet, carpet, carpet. We received a large donation of carpeting and we're processing it as fast as we can.
Secondly is tile. You can see pictured to the bottom, three pallets of tile we've just received plus we have more tile in our 'back forty' storage area. We're making a concerted effort to get as much of this tile out onto the sales floor as quickly as possible.
Third is organic garden supplies. We've got all of our organic gardening supplies for the season out on the shelves of our garden area in aisle 1. Revita Pro and our favorite Plant Pro potting soil are listed in the recent items below.
Lastly, we have a large volume of Spanish roof tiles made by the Ludowici Celadon Co. of Chicago, Illinois. Ludowici is a very interesting company and amazingly, dates back to the 16th century. These tiles aren't quite so old... rather recently salvaged from a roof top. Despite being used, they're in great shape and will easily last another 100 years. These tiles will be sold as a lot with standard field tiles being priced at $4 each. Many complimentary tiles are also available. Please call with your interest or inquire at our register.
The CJ Buzz
We're very excited to announce, for our April customer reward and in celebration of Earth Day, the return of the much loved Litterbug Bobbleheads. During the month of April, staff will be hiding 10 Litterbug Bobbleheads throughout CJ’s retail space. Track down a Bobblehead, bring it to CJ’s cashier when you’re ready to check out and get 20% off your purchase. Our Litterbug Bobbleheads have been given to us courtesy of Pennysylvania Resources Council (PRC).
The Litterbug Bobbleheads could be hiding in drawers, cabinets, display cases or behind items. We're going to get creative! We do promise however that all Litterbugs... ten each day for the entire month, will be accessible and within easy reach. The earlier you arrive... the greater your chances of finding a Litterbug and saving 20% off your purchase.
Remember, the first Litterbug Bobbleheads will escape onto CJ’s sales floor on Thursday, April 1st, 2010. Have fun hunting!
