Make Art in the Park!
August 7, 2010

Family fun activities, crafts and demos inside; activities & exhibits outside.  International performance & installation artist Brandon Boan is helping secure artists, instructors & build activity stations.

 Creation Stations

  • Recycled sculpture workshop: using recyclable materials to make figurative & formal art works.
  • Print workshop: families will focus on image making & collage utilizing silk screen printing processes on paper & T-shirts.
  • Claymation and puppet station: children will create story boards & form modeling clay to make their own animated short stories that will be on display at the event. 
  • Wall art painting & crayon window films: a wall for endless expressions & creativity to share with everyone!
  • Balloon landscape: local artist will create an exciting outdoor installation using helium balloons.
