CJ's free pickup service
Have you recently embarked on a new mission to de-clutter your life? Maybe you’ve hired a professional organizer who’s loaded up your garage with an insurmountable mass of things you no longer need. Perhaps you’re in love with your brand new kitchen save the fact that your old cabinets are still piled up around the corner or in the basement.
Or maybe you’ve just simply wished for some really great folks to magically appear and efficiently take away all of those things you’ve been meaning to get rid of in your home or at your business.
Lo and behold we have the answer!! CJ’s super fantastic – and free – pickup service!
In 2011 alone, our crew conducted 728 pickups for a total of about 5,200 cubic yards of material. We average 4 – 5 pickups a day and have travelled over 230,000 miles in the last decade picking up common items like kitchen cabinets, light fixtures, furniture and plumbing fixtures to the more unusual things like a hyperbaric chamber, secret door, and spiral staircase.
In our travels we’ve done many other good things too… like attend dozens and dozens of community oriented and hard to recycle collections events or deliver donated furniture and other items to area shelters. One time, one of our drivers, Jeff Cech, even helped rescue a woman stranded in a Washington Blvd flash flood.
Heroics aside… contact us if you’d like to schedule a pickup. We’ll provide prompt, courteous and professional service. Fill out our online donation form or email Ben at info@constructionjunction.org. We guarantee to respond within 2 business days (Mon-Fri/8am-5pm) though we like to respond much faster than that! Thank you.

Hey thanks Michael! That's a great tip. We found this press release that provides additional information. -- Cozmo
Cozmo’s Message of the Week
A little birdie told me that the Pittsburgh Montessori school is requesting donations of old tennis balls to use on the bottoms of classroom chairs as a noise reduction strategy. They have about 20 classrooms and need 120 balls per room. That's 2,400 balls!! I wonder how many balls are buried in my backyard? Their address is Pittsburgh Montessori, 201 S Graham St., Pittsburgh PA 15206 or call 412-665-2010 for more info.
