Many of you know about  the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse (PCCR), our friends right around the corner!  PCCR is located in the Construction Junction building on N. Lexington Street past the CJ parking lot and we love having them as our neighbors and friends!  PCCR is currently on the search for a new Executive Director and we wanted to let all of our customers and fans know about their search! 

PCCR promotes resource conservation, creativity and community engagement through material reuse.  The organization keeps reusable materials out of landfills by taking donations, providing creative reuse programs, and serving as a low-cost resource for teachers, artists, and others seeking unique materials for their creative projects.  PCCR works to ensure that items typically discarded are treated as resources rather than waste.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for the overall administration and management of PCCR’s collection, program, and retail operations. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with the potential for growth.  For more information or to apply please send a letter of inquiry and a current resume to Danae Clark, PCCR Board of Directors.  The deadline is September 15, 2012.
