September 28- October 5, 2012
Fall is in the air! The leaves are turning, pumpkin flavor is popping up all over town and our friends at Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania are running a Goodwill Halloween Costume Photo Contest! Goodwill is asking people to create Halloween costumes with items from their stores! You can submit photos of your costumes here until October 25th; just let them know which local Goodwill you purchased supplies from! Photos will be posted in an album on Goodwill’s Facebook page and viewers will be able to vote for their favorite costume by ‘liking’ the photo! This contest is open to everyone – shoppers, clients and even Goodwill staff…be sure to keep your eyes open for CJ staff submittals!
Voting runs through October 30th and the winners will be announced on October 31st through the Goodwill Facebook page! PNC Bank has generously agreed to sponsor the contest and have supplied prizes for first, second and third place and the Goodwill store that produces the greatest number of costume entries will also receive a prize!
Keep an eye out for the Green Building Alliance’s yearly fundraiser HallowGreen which takes place at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History! Part of the evening's proceeds will support the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy in its efforts to rebuild the Frick Environmental Center.
Be sure to stop by CJ this October to check out our displays of up-cycled and reused Halloween decorations and check us out on Facebook to see our new album of customer projects!

FROTH-PAK Refillable System Demo - DEAWP WorkshopOctober 3, 2012
Come to the latest DEAWP workshop:
FROTH-PAK™ is two-component polyurethane spray foam that comes in both portable kits and refillable canisters. It is available in multiple densities and is ideal as an insulator or air sealant for either new construction or retrofit application
Presented by: Wind Lock and Dow Chemical in conjunction with DEAWP
**You will need to provide your own Respirator “organic vapor acid gas” half face cartridge type respirator is fine
Why Use FROTH-PAK™ Refill Systems?
• An installer doesn’t have to be an expert on Graco equipment to get into the pro spray business. The FROTH-PAK™ system is simple and if the installer messes up a gun, he can replace the entire gun for $61.00. Less down time.
• Cost of maintaining this system is much lower than a big spray rig. Typical maintenance on big rigs is $5,000 - $10,000 per year.
• Your blow-in installation truck can also have a refill rig on it for total system availability without making multiple trips to the job site.
• Refillable tanks save disposal fees and reduce the impact on landfills.
To register call DEAWP 1-888-728-9288 or email: email@example.com
