October discounts

At the start of every new month we're always compelled to highlight our discount programs.  This arises from seeing items on our sales floor from the previous month.  You see... items are increasingly discounted as "they age" month by month.  So early in every month, there are always items from the previous month that now cost less.  Naturally, being the warm and fuzzy folks we are, we want to write and tell you about it.

We call this our Monthly Discount Program.  We have other discount programs too, including Spin & Save, Senior Discounts, and our bi-monthly Customer Rewards (happening this month).  Here's a quick summary of all the ways you can save money at CJ during October.

Monthly Discount Program - save these amounts on items marked from these months:

Jan - save 75% Feb - save 75% Mar - save 70% Apr - save 60%
May - save 50% Jun - save 40% Jul - save 30% Aug - save 20%
Sep - save 10% Oct - New Arrival Nov - Dec -

Spin & Save - spin the discount wheel (that's it to the right) and save 5 - 20% on this month's new arrivals every 3rd Saturday of the month.

Senior Discount - save 10% on your entire purchase the last Thursday of every month (must be 55 or older).

October Customer Reward - save 10% on your entire purchase if you say Cozmo's secret message when checking out (see Cozmo's message below).

Some of the discounts stack as well.  For example, let's say you're a senior shopping on the last Thursday of the month, you're buying a $100 item that has been here since February and you know Cozmo's secret message.  Your item will cost $25 and you'll save an additional 20% off that amount.  So your $100 item will cost you $20.  Not bad hah?!?

The CJ Buzz

Beyond all of the discounts above... we're also running a special this month.  All windows are 25% off.  You know what they say - when it rains it pours!

CJ Q&A

How should I dispose of old paint and other toxic liquids that are not reuseable?  Is there anyplace in Pittsburgh that will accept it?  --  Kelly

Kelly  --  Your question is one we get often and we always refer folks to the Southwestern Pennsylvania Household Hazardous Waste Task Force.  SWPAHHW holds collections events around the area to help people responsibly dispose of exactly the types the items you're asking about.  Their next event is scheduled for October 4, 2008.  Find out more by clicking the link above and checking out their website.  --  Cozmo
