James Dean Speaks
Check this out... James Dean is talking to you! And he has a very important message... DONATE! Why is Mr. Dean's message so important? Because winter is coming and soon it'll be cold, wet and snowy. As such, now is the time CJ needs to stock up. So check your garages, basements and closets. Needle your friends, co-workers and relatives. Say no to the landfill and yes to Construction Junction! We want your used and surplus building materials and we want 'em bad!!
Thanks and Happy Halloween.
The CJ Buzz
Construction Junction has had a Hold Policy for years. The intention of the policy was simple... to provide folks the opportunity to hold an item for 24 hours while they made sure it would work for them. CJ always felt that customers might need some extra time to go home and measure or make arrangements for a truck for example.
But, due to issues and events that keep arising, we feel that our hold policy has become more of a customer disservice than service and we're going to eliminate it completely. Also, from a business perspective, our hold policy is not helping our organization as it seems to cause us to lose sales which hinders our capacity to acheive our mission.
So... effective Monday November 17th our hold policy will be... poof like magic... gone.

CJ Q&A
I have asked and nobody can tell me how to dispose of old computer and laptop battieries. Can you help? -- Jacqueline
Jacqueline -- You can recycle your old computer and laptop batteries at CJ through our e-waste recycling program. The cost is $1 per battery. Also, many traditional retailers such Home Depot, Staples and Radio Shack accept rechargeable batteries for recycling. You can find out more at www.rbc.org where they maintain a list of participating retailers. Additionally, both the Carnegie Library and Phipps Conservatory maintain great green living/recycling resources webpages that you might find of value. -- your buddy Cozmo
Cozmo’s Message of the Week
You Rock! Thanks to you, CJ had a great October with our second best sales month and more customer traffic than ever before. Our next customer reward program will happen in December and I'm chewing on more than just bones to come up with something good.
