Year end tax savings

The end of the year will be here before we know it... so now is the time to ensure you're maximizing your 2008 tax deductions by donating any unwanted used and surplus building materials to Construction Junction before December 31st.

By doing so you are helping us promote conservation, keep useable materials out of landfills and make home renovation more affordable for the thousands of folks who shop our store.

To assist you we offer a free pick up service for larger donations.  To discuss a donation or schedule a pick up, call Bonnie, our Donations Manager, at 412-377-9116.

Also, we accept donations at our store anytime during our regular business hours, seven days a week.  Just pull up to our dock... we'll help you unload and provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.

Already, even as we type this message, Derek and Marc are anticipating your arrival.

Thank you.

CJ Q&A

Hello.  I've got a small permaculture farm in West Virginia, and have to say... keep up the good work.  I haven't been a customer, but have heard great things.  I'm curious about gutters.  I'm looking for as many sections of rain gutter as possible for an organic hydroponic greenhouse.  If you can help or point me in the right direction please email me.  Thanks for your time.  -- Isaac, Wiggi's Gardens

Isaac -- You keep up the good work too.  We're big believers in smaller scale sustainable farming!!  As much as we hate to say it... it's unlikely we're going to be able to help you as gutters and downspouts are types of items we hardly ever receive.  We recommend you check out The Freecycle Network and the inventory other reuse centers that may be in your area.  You can find of list of reuse centers near you in the directory section of the Building Materials Reuse Association's website.  Also, are you a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture?  They maintain a popular classified section of their website where you could search ads and/or post an ad.  We hope this helps and happy farming!  -- Cozmo
