High Volume Matchmaking
Construction Junction has a line on a significant quantity of brick. So significant in fact, that we need to be sure there are folks out there who'd want to purchase it before we take it all on. Specifically, we're looking for people who would be interested in purchasing 5,000 or more brick and who could receive brick in these high volume quantities.
This brick is at least 80 years old (made "before the war") and likely weighs between 6 - 8 lbs each. If you're interested and located within the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, please email bswearingen@constructionjunction.org.
CJ may be doing more of this "high volume matchmaking" in the future if this initial effort goes well. Of course we'd have to add a special section to our website and it'd have to play the matchmaker song from the Fiddler on the Roof musical.
The CJ Buzz
The Steel City Big Pour planning efforts are kicking into high gear! In the very near future we'll be posting information about this year's big event so be sure to stay tuned to our website for all of the latest news. We're all very exited and looking forward to "a killer" Big Pour.
We are also in the process of identifying event sponsors. Do you work for or own a company that might like to sponsor The Big Pour? Many people have said that last year's Steel City Big Pour was the best craft beer festival they've ever attended. Different sponsorship levels are available. If your interested please email David Lagnese at david.lagnese@verizon.net.

CJ Q&A
What does CJ intend to do with the $5,000 they just won as a recipient of a Western Pennsylvania Environmental Award (http://www.pecpa.org/wpea)?
We are considering using it to support a pilot deconstruction project and should know within the next few weeks if this will be the case. If so... we'll be sure to tell you all about it. --Cozmo
Cozmo’s Message of the Week
All of our organic potting soil "flew" out the door after our recent "May is for gardening" e-Blast! But fear not... we're working on getting more.
