CJ has Elves
Have you noticed that Construction Junction is looking neater and neater all of the time? Every week as I walk around to take pictures, I see the improvements that are steadily being made to our retail sales floor.
You know what I think... I think we have elves. For instance, dusty inventory is here one day and gone the next. Then before you know it... new racking fixtures appear. Lumber goes from being discombobulated to being "combobulated". 
Door knobs appear in organized bins and within plain sight. The list goes on. They must be really strong elves.
The CJ Buzz
We have approximately 40 beautiful single panel commercial mahogany doors that we're currently processing. They come from a fancy schmancy law firm in downtown Pittsburgh. We'll let you know in next week's e-Blast when we expect to get them out on the sales floor. Here are some details...
- Doors are oversized at 36" wide x 90" high
Frame is solid mahogany, panel in mahogany veneer- Have both left and right swings available
- Have a limited number of solid mahogany split jambs available
- Knob sets (w/mortise) are polished chrome pass through lever style made by Sargent
- Hinges are 4" polished chrome with ball bearings (three per door) made by McKinney
Components can be purchased individually or as a set. Doors are $125, knob sets are $50, hinges are $30 for three, and jambs are $20. Full sets are $200 (save $25). Retail, at today's prices, for this package would be over $700.

Free firewood
The staff at CJ has started stock piling pallets that we can't make use of so that someone else can make use of them as firewood. Please help yourself to as many of these pallets as you'd like. Please click on the "read more" for a photo... and here's to the beauty of use and reuse.

This is Stellar! Have been reading about similiar organizations in markets like Boston, New York, etc. Great to see it happening in the coolest, hippest city in America. I'm out in Boulder, Colorado at present, but lived and worked in Pittsburgh for 10 years... hoping to make it back to Western PA soon. -- Joshua
