Cozmo's green thumb
Believe it not... CJ's Cozmo loves to garden and has quite a green thumb, especially when it comes to heirloom tomato seedlings. He also loves to share and as such Shannon Clover, CJ's Operations Director, is holding several different types of tomato seedlings Cozmo's donated to CJ. Some employees bring in cake, others cookies... Cozmo brings in tomatoes.
The individually potted seedlings are Certifiied Naturally Grown and $3 each. All proceeds (100%) benefit CJ so be sure to buy a few the next time you stop into the store. If you love tomatoes, then you haven't lived until you've tasted heirloom tomatoes. We're not kidding!
Click here for more info about the heirloom tomatoes varieties including Red Pear, Paul Robeson and Sioux.

Vote for one of Pittsburgh's own as America's Greenest School!
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) is one of the 10 finalists in the IC Bus "America's Greenest School" contest. OLSH Senior, Brianna Flasco, was informed last Friday that her essay was one of ten essays chosen from over 2500 entries making her eligible to win a scholarship and making OLSH the potential winner of its very own hybrid school bus. Here is where you can help... America decides the winner by on-line vote.
On-line voting begins May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th. Please visit www.americasgreenestschool.com and vote for Brianna Flasco and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School. Registered users are able to vote once per day and eligible to win fun prizes... so vote everyday if you can. It would be great to see Brianna win a scholarship and to see America's Greenest School be in our fine city!!!

Panelists will include Mayor Valentino Castellani, former Mayor of the City of Turin, Italy; Maureen McAvey of the Urban Land Institute; Allen Kukovich, Executive Director of the Regional Visioning Project; and Candi Castleberry-Singleton, Chief Diversity Officer of UPMC as moderator.
Read more about this event in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s article.
Co-sponsored by the German Marshall Fund and ULI Pittsburgh. For more info and to RSVP go to http://www.citylivepgh.org/.
CJ Q&A
I'm looking for bar stools for the Kelly Strayhorn lobby. Also, we are looking for small round tables... also for our lobby. I need at least ten. Can you let me know if you come across some? -- Eric
Eric -- We're blasting out this question to increase the liklihood of us getting something that'll work for you. Anyone reading this who may have a whole bunch of bar stools and/or small tables could also contact Eric (eric at kelly-strayhorn.org) directly and make their donation to the Kelly Strayhorn. -- Cozmo
