Customer happiness
Here's a fantastic note we received from a very happy customer. We can't wait to see the photos and will share them in a future e-Blast edition once we get them.
Please add the picture of the farmhouse sink to "Great & Gone!" After I received last week's E-Blast I jumped in my Explorer and drove 300+miles from the Pocono's to get it. Fortunately for me, I called in a favor, and my niece who lives in the area, went to snatch it up for me.
My husband is threatening to disconnect my internet service because this means another project for him, BUT I'll just go to the library! My SISTER (who got me addicted to your store) wants to remove me from the mailing list, but I'd just sign in under another name and e-mail account.
A fervent thank you... even though the sink cost me almost $500 due to gas, eating out, tolls, and school shopping while I visited the family!
I'll send a picture when it's installed. Again, thanks sooo much.
Sincerely,
Rosemarie

Check out the event we have listed on our website... the Pittsburgh Visionary Arts Festival. One of our very own, Bruce Brinker, is participating!
Also, if you like the six pallets of carpet tile we currently have on hand (see recent arrivals) then you'll be very happy to know that we'll be getting in several more pallets worth some time next week.

CJ asks you to post this flyer to help the word for NMRWA.
Pittsburgh Visionary Arts Festival
August 7, 2009
The first Pittsburgh Visionary Arts Festival is bringing together more than 50 local visionary artists and art innovators into a single venue.
For three full days, these artists will share their work, vision and unique ideas in a friendly outdoors festival setting. The VAF will feature a rich diversity of minds, covering the full spectrum of art mediums: from painting to mixed media, from digital media to sound art, through recycled and self-taught art… and beyond!
This festival is intended primarily as a visual and sensory experience of art. While much of the work presented will be available for purchase, a large portion of the work will not be for sale. Experience a slice of Pittsburgh’s greatest visionary art, in a festival that hopes to decorate your soul rather than your living room!
Free and open to the public. For more information go to www.pghvisionaryartsfestival.com.
CJ Q&A
Will you recycle old encyclopedias? -- Philip
Philip -- The City of Pittsburgh operates its most popular recycling drop off site in our parking lot and you can access it during the same hours our store is open. One of the dumpsters is specifically for hard back books so that would be the place where your old encyclopedias would go. -- Cozmo
Cozmo’s Message of the Week
This weekend, July 18 - 19, we'll be offering the last of the free heirloom tomato and specialty peppers seedlings to our customers while supplies last. We've given away hundreds so far which makes us very happy.
