Re-Blasted & Reduced
This week we're doing something a little different with our e-Blast. We've scoured our warehouse for all of those items that have been blasted before but haven't sold and relisted them with significantly reduced prices. So if you love a good bargain then this week's e-Blast is for you.
You'll also be happy to know, with Thanksgiving around the corner and the holiday season quickly approaching, that the Four Frozen Farmers will be returning to once again sell Christmas trees from our parking lot. They've asked us to pass along this message to you.
"Temperatures are finally beginning to fall, and the Four Frozen Farmers are rolling in from the fields. This December you can find us where you've always found us... gathered around a crackling campfire at Construction Junction, surrounded by hundreds of beautiful, locally grown Christmas trees and more than a few wreaths, made fresh on site.
You'll find us gripping our mugs of hot cocoa, for ONE WEEKEND ONLY, December 11-13, from 9am till 9pm. Come on out, bring the kids and warm your hands over our fire. We'll help you find the perfect tree.
Our trees are grown locally in Indiana County, and this year we’ll be offering the soft-needled, long-lasting, aromatic firs. We’ll have Fraser Firs, from 6-10’ along with Canaan Firs, from 6-7’, and some cute tabletop trees from 3-5’ to boot.
You can feel good about buying a locally grown Christmas tree. Live and cut Christmas trees are an ecologically responsible choice. Tree farms provide habitat for birds and wildlife, add oxygen to our atmosphere, and maintain forested areas that may otherwise be developed. New seedlings are planted in place of each cut tree.
So come out and see us – Jen Montgomery from Blackberry Meadows Farm, Joshua Burnett and Susanna Meyer from Grow Pittsburgh, and Neil Stauffer, from Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance. We’ve been helping you connect to fresh, local food all year – now let us help you select your perfect, local Christmas tree! For more info, please contact 4frozenfarmers at gmail dot com."
The CJ Buzz
This week's Buzz is somewhat foggy but still very exciting nonetheless. We're getting in some cabinet-grade veneered particle board (Cherry, Walnut, Oak, etc.), plain particle board, and other sheet goods. The 4'x8' sheets of Cherry veneer product is available now on the floor and priced at $40 per sheet, with other veneers arriving next week. We'll also have some veneer sheets (meaning just the vaneer), veneer banding, sheets of cork (4'x4' of varying thickness) and pinboard (4'x4') that will be making its way to the floor. Some of these items are on the floor now and a lot more will be arriving early next week but exactly what we're going to have is still somewhat unknown. We should know a lot more details by week's e-Blast.

Cozmo where can I recycle cassette tapes? Please let me know, I have a ton of them. Thank you -- Marisa
Marisa -- Hmmm... that's a good question. Does anyone know the answer? If so, please email me at info@constructionjunction dot org and we'll put the info up on the recycling page of our website. Thanks -- Cozmo
