The Nine Mile Run Watershed Association needs your participation to help clean our stream. Rain that falls on our streets and sidewalks flows downhill toward our streams and rivers, carrying along with it litter and other pollutants found in its path.
If you live in the Nine Mile Run Watershed, you can help reduce the pollution in Nine Mile run by installing a barrel on your property that will catch rainwater and slowly release it into the earth.
You may be eligible to receive a free barrel if you live in one of our study neighborhoods, or you can purchase one at a reduced rate if you're a watershed resident.
