E-Waste Recycling at CJ
Construction Junction is always receiving emails from folks who want to know how they can recycle electronic waste and we're happy to report that, through a new collaboration with eLoop llc, we're expanding our electronic waste (e-waste) recycling program. Starting today, August 1, 2008, here's how the new program will work:

eLoop llc assures that materials are not exported or placed in a landfill by operating a complete recycling system that turns end of life electronics back into commodity grade materials like metal, glass and plastic. Their goal is to prepare electronic materials for a second life in another form through the loop of activity that will keep our environment safe.
eLoop llc has developed strategic partnerships with only approved e-Stewards as defined by the Basil Action Network. The e-Stewards are North America's most Responsible Recyclers. They have been qualified by the staff of the Basil Action Network as recyclers that uphold the Electronics Recycler's Pledge of True Stewardship which is the world's most rigorous environmental and socially just criteria for recycling e-waste.
