Big Pour Week

In celebration of the Steel City Big Pour’s fifth year, Construction Junction and the Big Pour Committee are pleased to announce the all new -- Big Pour Week -- scheduled for Tuesday, Septembeer 6 through Monday, Septembeer 10, 2011 (though some of our partners and supporters are carrying the festivities through the 12th!).

The Steel City Big Pour is so popular that we’re constantly getting feedback asking us to expand it by either increasing the venue size or adding more sessions.  The organizational resources required to put on the Big Pour as well as our fierce commitment to protecting the quality of the event experience make that kind of expansion impractical.  Instead, we’d like to facilitate a broader celebration with the launch of the 1st annual Steel City Big Pour Week, check out listings and ads in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for more information.

Big Pour Week celebrates five years with five days of events that culminate in the Steel City Big Pour.  Our goal is to leverage the Steel City Big Pour’s success to support our local partners (craft brewers, beer bars and restaurants) who share our commitment to craft beers, artisanal food traditions, and promoting reuse, while increasing the fundraising capacity of the Big Pour.
