Contractor
The US EPA has estimated that US companies generate 136 million tons of building-related construction and demolition waste per year, with 92% of that waste attributed to renovation and demolition. Construction Junction is working to be a solution to this growing problem. Nearly every contractor we meet has a story to tell about large quantities of good material from remodeling/renovation projects that has gone into the dumpster.
Do you
- Frequently have commercial or residential jobs with large amounts of material (doors windows, cabinets, trim etc,.) to be removed?
- Often have excess building material on your job site?
- Have surplus or used building material in a warehouse or storage facility that's costing you money?
Don't
- Pay to have good material hauled to the landfill.
- Bury your surplus material on the job site.
- Pay to store material that you may never use.
Call Construction Junction, we will
- Pick Up your useable building material free of charge if you have enough material.
- For large jobs look into the potential cost savings of having our salvage crew remove useable material for you.
- Provide a tax deduction to your client or your business based on the value of the market value of the donation. Always check with your accountant or controller to determine if your business can write off donations of material to CJ.
- Help your client get in touch with an appraiser if you believe your donation might exceed $5,000 (see IRS guidelines for assigning value to your donation pdf).
