How the process works
Enlist our services early
You and your client will receive the maximum benefits (job costs and tax savings) if you secure our services early in the project planning process. We typically work prior to asbestos abatement and full demolition.
Schedule a walkthrough of your project
A representative from Construction Junction will visit a potential job site on the same day you call or first thing the following day if you call after 3:00PM to assess the job. If you are going to visit a job site for an initial project bid we can arrange to meet your representative at the site and give you an initial idea of what we would be interested in salvaging.
Develop a working list of material to be removed (or not removed)
During the visit we will make a list of inventory available for removal, assess our labor needs, and develop a timeline that will work with your schedule.
Follow up within 24 hours with our proposal and work timeline
Depending on the job conditions, location, and materials available for removal a fee for services may or may not be assessed. Fees will be assessed based on additional labor required to meet your project timeline. The longer window you give us, the less likely we will have to increase our costs to do your job.
Client accepts/rejects/modifies our proposal . If accepted:
CJ will provide you with a certificate of insurance (listing all parties as “additional insured”) as well as provide all parties with a “release from liability” for any job we are engaged to perform.
Itemized material list
At the completion of the job we will provide an itemized receipt for material removed which can be used for tax purposes and/or potentially LEED certification.
Our deconstruction operation is not a demolition company. We can be an effective complement to demolition as we are interested in maximizing the amount of material removed for reuse from your job site.
