Pittsburgh’s only non-profit building material reuse retailer.

Why Drive to the Big Pour?

Here are a few reasons not to:

1) Because you could ride your bicycle -

This year the Steel City Big Pour will feature a FREE bike valet service thanks in part to Bike Pittsburgh.  Enjoy the event knowing your ride is in safe hands!

2) Because you could take Port Authority -

Port Authority operates several bus lines from many parts of town right to Construction Junction. See the location map to the right, and click on the link below from the part of town you'll be coming from for a printable timetable and map.  You can also go to Google Transit for bus route information.

3) If you do either, we'll give you one free raffle ticket -

We'll hand you a raffle ticket at the bike valet. Or if you take the bus, show us your transfer at the will call ticket counter to claim your raffle ticket. Be sure to ask for a transfer on the bus (the standard fare is $2.25, with a transfer you can make a connection or return trip within 3 hours for an extra fee of $1.00). PLEASE NOTE that bus routes have been renamed since we made our map - the 67A is now the 67, the 74A is now the 74, and the EBA, EBS and EBO are now the P1, P2, and P3.

Construction Junction is one block from these bus routes: 71C Point Breeze, 67 Monroeville, 69 Trafford, 74 Homewood and is close to these buses: P1, P2, P3 Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway.  Additionally, CJ is within a healthy 20 minute walk of these bus routes: 61A Wilkinsburgh via Forbes Ave, 61B Braddock Swissvale

To plan your trip on a Port Authority bus, please go to their website or trip planner.

Construction Junction wants to ensure that you enjoy the Big Pour safely and responsibly.  Please don't drink and drive.
